Adventure Dynamics
Adventure Dynamics will present fun and unique challenges for the entire family. You’ll enjoy interactive tag games, challenges that build teamwork and fast moving group games.
Hot Shot Tap Dancers
The Hot Shot Tap Dancers delivers a virtuoso performance that is fun, exciting and youthful. Be prepared to witness the best tap dancers when the three brothers take the stage at the Spokane Convention Center, Variety Show.

Ashe

Ignite! Community Theatre

Inland NW Luthiers Association
Enjoy the beautiful instrumentals played on a variety of stringed instruments as well as demonstrations on how these instruments are made.
Pottery Place Plus
Pottery Place Plus, founded in 1978, is one of the oldest existing Artist Cooperatives in the West. It is home to 24 talented local member artists working in a variety media, including ceramics, glass, textiles, paper, calligraphy, batik, scratch board, basket weaving and jewelry. B.A.S.I.C Gospel Singers and Musicians
Want to see the STA second floor move? Then stop by and see B.A.S.I.C Gospel Singers and catch the contagious energy that they bring. One of the most requested gospel music presenters in the Inland Northwest!

Better Than Yesterday
Better Than Yesterday plays a style of rock and roll equally influenced by alternative and classic rock and pop, as well as country. The band has a diverse repertoire including both covers and original songs.

Brothers From Different Mothers
Live from Seattle this dynamic duo of juggling comedians shoulders the challenge of gravity time after time. This unique team has risen to become one of the premier comedy acts in the country and is sure to be a big hit at the INB Performing Arts Center.
 Jim Valley
Jim Valley is a musician, composer, entertainer, and world renowned performing artist. He has created numerous albums, books, a musical play and a DVD and has been touted by educators as an International Troubadour -- bringing the magic of music and motion to children everywhere. Jim was also a member of the infamous 1960’s musical group “Paul Revere and the Raiders”.

Bubbillusions
Two-time Guinness World Record holder Bubbillusionist, Jarom Watts, invites you to a world of magical bubbles and endless imagination.
Josh Jaklich
Stroll down Spokane Falls Blvd. and check out Joshua Jaklich who is a clay artist/designer from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. His own art includes both functional and sculptural clay works. Much of his non-functional pieces are raku fired to accentuate the abstract imperfectionism of his work. 
River Park Square – Costume Designs
Beginning December 26th see the fabulous and creative dresses designed by some of the best local artists. This eclectic group of designer dresses will be on display thru January 1st and are tied to this year’s theme of “In the Land of Make Believe”. 
Cary Fly Band

Come learn the art of making glass icicles as Kara shares her intimate knowledge for detail and color in this intricate art of glass making
Robins Song
Robins Song has been performing together since 2001. Catharine Drum Scherer and Molly Zammit share a love of many genres of music and play from Celtic to Peruvian to light classical on harp, flute, and other instruments as well as soft melodic vocals.

Come see Cheryl and the unique artistic style she possesses as she creates depth, dimension and illusion on canvas with acrylics colors that capture the eyes and please the senses.
Katie Frey
Katie Frey has an eclectic and whimsical style that is somewhat abstract. Utilizing a mixed media approach, she brings the canvas to life with vibrant colors.
Ryan Oelrich
Be sure and watch for Ryan and his larger than life balloon sculptures. As a master of balloon art, Ryan will create a large balloon masterpiece for your viewing pleasure.
Conrad Bagley
Conrad works in a variety of mediums that includeglass, fusing, casting, blowing, and lampworking. He creates in an evolving pattern of color, styles and mediums with each giving life and depth to the next.
Kathy Gale
Come enjoy the visual splendor of Kathy’s oil paintings of still life, landscapes, and the figure at the Kress Gallery in River Park Square.
Sam Wollenhaupt
With a musical style all her own, Sam will delight you with the unique Marimba sound that includes light jazz, classical and folk music.

 Koreshatki Dancers
Koreshakti is a tribal fusion belly dance collective featuring a core group of local talent-and guest performers from the Northwest. They work closely with local musical group Kama Shivaya-whose dark ambient world fusion music has received rave reviews and acclaim locally
Silver Spurs Youth Folk Dancers
From rollicking German to fast swing dancing, the Silver Spurs Youth Folk Dancers perform cultural and social dances from around the world and throughout time. Enjoy watching the dance styling of American dance crazes, Romanian lines, old time squares, waltzes, and Irish step dancing.
Dayle Sanborn
Beautifully refined and repurposed fibers are woven into soft sculptures that are interesting to the eye as Dayle Sanborn demonstrates this fascinating art medium.
Koyasuyo
Koyasuyo, founded by Brian Houser and Heather McKean in 2003. The group plays songs and instrumental music of the mountainous regions of Peru, Bolivia, and Ecuador with authentic instruments.
6 Foot Swing
Listen or dance the night away to the eclectic jazz sounds of 6 Foot Swing. With influences of Billie Holiday and Louis Armstrong, 6 Foot Swing will keep you rocking all night long!
Dara Harvey
As an oil painter & mixed media artist, Dara adds whimsical design styles to her pieces. She balances color and medium and creates something appealing to the eye.
Lorraine Krank
Lorraine specializes in beautifully detailed tempera paintings at the INB Performing Arts Center lobby
Snowboard Rail Jam
Don't miss the Inland Northwest's best skiers and snowboarders as they display their fearlessness and extreme tricks on the rails at Riverfront Park, right in front of the fountain on Spokane Falls Blvd.!
Delta Preachers
Jeff Aker and Dave Allen have been part of the local blues music scene for many years. They have been nominated and have won awards in the blues genre with their distinct old style acoustic blues sound,
 Louis Foxx
Performing magic tricks since the age of five, Louis Foxx will mesmerize you with his original magic creations and make you laugh out loud with his comedic routine. Not to be missed!
Spokane Children’s Theatre
Spokane Children's Theatre presents a staged reading of Eleanor Estes’ 100 Dresses, directed by Dawn Taylor Reinhardt and features the members of SCT’s new drama group, Young Actors Studio.
Dick Frost
Dick Frost presents a joyful act of magic. With various, lovable character's such as Clyde, The Do-Do Bird, Blue Bear and his bakery mischief, and Mikey the Troublesome Mouse, Dick encourages his audiences to play an interactive part in his show.
 Lucid
Lucid has built a reputation as one of the premier independent rock acts in the Inland Northwest. Lucid has been touted as “The next big thing to come out of Washington” by some of Spokane’s most popular radio DJ's and Lucid is proving it!
Spokane Dance Company
Come to the Doubletree Hotel ballroom and learn the basics of ballroom and salsa dance, so you can dance the night away to the coming of a New Year!
Donzell Milam
Stop by and have a great 3 minute sketch of yourself as Donzell puts your image to paper. As a studio owner locally, Donzell has also worked in various artistic medias and is a sketch, watercolor, acrylic and pencil artist.
 Maddison Colvin
Art creations in various mediums based on the structures of the body- specifically, medical anatomical illustrations Maddison Colvin chooses abstract and separate areas of the body, and make them strange and unrecognizable but inherently beautiful.
Spokane Face Painting
Come enjoy the unique and creative face painting techniques of Bill Edge and the Spokane Face Painters as they create unique designs just for you.
Doreen’s Line Dancers
Doreen and her fabulous line dancers perform different line dancing styles to a variety of music genres. Keep your feet tapping as Doreen and her group teach you some simple line dancing steps and techniques after each performance.
 
Marcia Dukes
Expect the unexpected in this live sculpture demonstration that features a squirrel made out of found every day objects. Marcia’s artistic style explores a range of art mediums that include sculpture, painting, sketching, and pen & ink.

First Day
The Museum of Arts & Culture have extended their hours! (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Visit the 5 art galleries while enjoying the varied talents of Dick Frost, Jarom Watts, Todd Milne, and The Mystik Dream Dance Company.
Masquerade Disco Ball
Join us at our Masquerade Disco Ball at the Spokane Convention Center, Grand Ballrooms. Wear your favorite costume or make a mask at the event. You won’t want to miss the fun so bring your dancing shoes and enjoy elaborate lighting effects and great sounds from the 70’s to the present. A costume or mask for admittance!
Suzaku Taiko
Suzaku Taiko is dedicated to sharing both traditional and contemporary Japanese Taiko works and storytelling. This dynamic group brings to the stage their respect, enthusiasm, and love of Taiko drumming and its culture.
Free Whisky-The Band
Performing Celto-Folk and Pub-Rock music, Free Whisky-The Band cleverly intersperses the Classics through Celtic Folk and 20th Century Folk-Rock.
Matthew Van Zee
Watch for Matthew as he stilt walks throughout the evening, and amazes crowds with his storytelling and magic from days of old.
 
Terry Lee
Terry Lee captures his African animals in a moment of time and in all their majestic beauty. His impressionistic style, along with his magnificent sense of color, gives new meaning to Africa’s spectacular scenery and wildlife.
Get Lit! Programs
Get Lit! Programs enhance the artistic, social, and cultural life of people throughout the region. At First Night, young writers will share what they have been creating through our Writers-in-Residence program.

The ancient art of Henna Tattooing has been used in India for ceremonial purposes for thousands of years. Stop by the Spokane Masonic Center and get your all natural Henna Tattoo from some of the best tattoo artists in town.
Theatre Ballet of Spokane
Theatre Ballet of Spokane is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing quality dance performances to the community and is one of Spokane's premier dance companies.
Glass Gods
Glass Blowing since 1997, Master Glass Blower and torch worker Tim Bohr, owner and artist of Glass Gods, will create goblets, beads, animals, and more on Spokane Falls Blvd.
 
Northern Ice Works     
In their 3rd year participating at First Night Spokane, Northern Ice Works will provide an ice forest which includes an ice castle and ice slide for the kids, trees, stumps and animals along Spokane Falls Blvd.
The Mystik Dance Dream Company
The Mystik Dream Dance Company is a professional dance troupe dedicated to bringing the ancient art of belly dance to the mainstream.
 
Green Light Go
Green Light Go is a seven member ensemble that plays songs of the upbeat ska/punk/rock variety to get the crowd moving. Winning both RAWK Final Four '09 and BOBfest '09, proves the band is too legit to quit.
Not Quite Fullharmonic Orchestra
A roving one-man band, Rock Bocook will enchant kids of all ages with his special one-of a kind percussion backpack that includes a fiddle and guitar.
The Sherfey Family
The Sherfey Family will surprise you with their sizzling hot fiddle, guitar, and mandolin playing that has been passed down through generations in this family.
Haran Irish Dancers with Celtic Nots and An Dochas
The Celtic Nots and An Dochas play upbeat traditional and non-traditional Irish and Celtic music and are accompanied by the award winning Haran Irish Dancers, whose choreography compliments the music of these two musical groups.
NxNW Production's 48 Hour Film Festival
Local film-makers were given 48 hours to script, film and edit these film shorts. Come checkout the local talent and view these films in the City of Spokane, City Council chamber meeting room on the lower level of City Hall
Todd Milne
Todd Milne performs meditative music on bamboo flute. His style pays homage to traditions from around the world, drawing on Japanese, East Indian, Middle Eastern, Native American and Celtic influences.
Harp Man Hatter
Keep an acoustic ear out for the talented strains of Harp Man Hatter as he plays his harmonica throughout the festive streets at First Night.
 
Occam’s Razor
Occam's Razor is a retro blues, cover tunes band ready to bring to you artist's creations such as Jimmy Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton and the like. All preformed by a lead guitar that will rock your mind, a bassist that feels the music’s heart and soul and a percussionist that brings the beat to life.
Tom Quinn
As a caricature artist Tom will discover your quirky side and let it shine through with his unique drawing style.
Havermale High School Drummers
Come listen to the beat of a different drummer at the Crescent Court-Second Floor as the Havermale High School Students under the direction of Michael Moonbear create a rhythmic sound of West African and Afro Cuban songs. This group is high energy that will touch your soul and spirit.
Opening Ceremony
Watch the excitement unfold and don’t miss our fabulous First Night Spokane 2010 opening ceremony at Spokane Falls Blvd. Bring your family and friends to watch the extravaganza and get your night started with a bang!
Tuxedo Junction
Tuxedo Junction is heralded as the ‘Best Big Band’ in the Inland Empire. This fantastic band is made up of an all-star cast of musicians and vocalists from the Coeur d’Alene - Spokane area. 
With its big band sound, come dance the night away at the Doubletree Hotel.
 Holy Name-Honors Chamber Music
Holy Names Music Center's Honors Chamber Music Group is the premiere student performance group and is comprised of the finest students from the teaching studios at the Center and performs frequently in the community. 
Paul Kuhlmann
American modern sculpturist since 1975, Paul creates unique decorative sculptures by bending and manipulating thin metals to create natural balance and harmony of composition. Stop by the Wheatland Bank drive thru on wall and enjoy his art as the sparks fly!
Variety Entertainers
Be on the look out for jugglers, magicians, street musicians and mimes as they keep the streets alive with fun and the festive mood that is First Night!

Enjoy the intricate techniques by renowned lampworking glass artist William Hagy and members of Northwest Glass Society as they create one of a kind pieces of glass art on Spokane Falls Blvd.
